Nathaniel Williams

Partner

Nathaniel Williams is Co-Founder and Partner of Metro Properties, and has over 30 years of experience in real estate investments and portfolio management. Since forming Metro Properties with Rodney Freeman in 1997, Mr. Williams has acted as a partner, manager and investor in over 20 real estate projects worth over $200 million. Mr. Williams directs the day to day operations of the company and in conjunction with Mr. Freeman formulates the long term investment strategy for the assets. Many of the real estate projects were value-add properties where the property was purchased with significant vacancy, deferred maintenance or other issues. Mr. Williams and his team formulate a plan to correct the deficiencies, reposition the asset and implement an aggressive leasing program to return the asset to a profitable position.

Prior to founding Metro Properties, from 1994 to 1997, Mr. Williams was Director of Asset Management for Summit Commercial where he worked on the acquisition, repositioning and disposition of 16 office and retail properties totaling approximately 3 million square feet. From 1984 to 1994, Mr. Williams help senior portfolio management and investment positions with Koll Investment Management, Karsten Realty Advisors and Glenfed Development.

Nat holds an active California Real Estate Broker’s License.

Rodney Freeman

Managing Partner

Rodney Freeman is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Metro Properties. Mr. Freeman and Mr. Williams formulate the long term investment strategy for the assets.

Mr. Freeman is also the President and CEO of Freeman Group, Inc., which he founded in 1993. Freeman Group has emerged as one of the West Coast’s premiere construction management and consulting firms. Freeman Group provides owner representative services in Construction Management, Development Management and Building Evaluations.

Prior to forming Metro Properties and Freeman Group, Mr. Freeman spent over 18 years at Auerbach Construction, Inc., 10 of which he served as President and CEO, whereby he successfully guided Auerbach Construction into a multi-faceted building, development and construction management organization. Through his extensive construction/real estate expertise, Mr. Freeman has personally been involved in the construction of more than 500 projects valued at over $1 billion.

Mr. Freeman holds an active California Sate Constructor License. He is a member of the American Arbitration Association and his extensively involved in community and charitable projects in the Jewish community.
